GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

Originated From:  England Approximate Size:  From shoulder height 20-24 inches Characteristics of Coats:  May be a number of shades, from ivory, light golden, medium golden, deep golden to almost completely red.  The coat is smooth and wavy and the undercoat is weather-resistant. Personality:  The Golden Retriever is self-cofident, obedient, sensitive, intelligent, loyal and adaptable.  Barking is rare. Behavior:  The Golden Retriever gets along well with adults, children, other dogs and any household pets.  It can be agressive and protective around unknown visitors. Care:  Regular grooming with a brush is recommended.  Goldens shed and brushing helps to keep their coats looking good.  It is important to keep their ears clean.   Training:  Obidenence training is recommended.  The earlier the training is started the more your Golden will learn.  The Golden Retriever is sensitive to harsh treatment, excessive strictness is highly discouraged.  The Golden will remember what it has been taught for all of their life.  Exercise:  Golden Retrievers have an above-average need for exercise, although they will adapt themselves to your exercise habits.  They  love to play ball, go for walks and are especially fond of water activities.

Terms and Conditions:

The male puppies will be sold for $400.00 each and the female puppies will be sold for $450.00 each.  FIRM. Terms of payment are as follows: A deposit will be required to hold any puppy prior to the date that they are ready to go. After such a date, no deposits will be taken as no holding will be granted, terms will then be first come first serve on remaining litter. Preferred payment method is cash, if this is not possible, no deposit for holding will be honored until payment by check is cleared by the financial institution issuing the payment. Any payment made by check for delivery of a puppy also will not be honored until payment is cleared by the financial institution issuing the payment.  Because this could take up to two weeks, there are no promises made and said pick of the litter may be sold to another party without prejudice or liabilty by the breeders.  No puppy shall leave the premises without payment in full, no exceptions.  For delivery outside of the area, the buyer agrees to pay all applicable shipping & handling fees in addition to the cost of the puppy.

About The Puppies:

All are pre-registered with the AKC, have had their dew claws removed and in a short while will have theirs first set of shots/worm prevention. They have a wonderful home life now and it is our wish as "grandpuparents" that they go to new owners who will love and care for them as much as we do.  Both of the parents are on the premises and an appointment can be scheduled to visit. Because eleven is a large amount for one litter, "Mama" has received around the clock help to care for her babies.  All puppies have been fed every four hours, both by "Mama" and also by bottle feeding.  Not only does this help to assure they are all getting enough to eat, it has helped to take some of the pressure off of the new mother.  All puppies are making progress and growing leaps and bounds daily.  As the puppies grow and await their new owners, they will be able to frolic and play on nearly 2 acres of protected yard.  They receive a lot of love and attention as well as required and preventive care.
